Each table has been completely stabilized, smoothed and finished. Natural tones of this wood show up in the tung oil finish. This custom commissioned piece I made from local cottonwood salvaged from a job site. The customer was looking for this design to represent movement and flow. I choose cottonwood because the grain and live edge curves are naturally river like. Cottonwood has unique figuring and character that worked excellent for this project. The head board is 9’ long and 3’ wide and joined with 1/2 steel rod.
